At the Chemicals Northwest Breakfast Networking event GlaxoSmithKline gave an update to the new plant being built in Ulverston, South West Cumbria.

The building of the £350 million bio-pharmaceutical plant was announced in March 2012. An obvious boost to the region’s economy, construction has started and is likely to take six years.
