My name is Cynara Livera. I have worked for 20 years in scientific and technological industries and for the last 12 years I have worked in small businesses.
Small businesses have particular issues that need to be addressed not least absolute value for money.
My close experience with the many areas of business including quality control, manufacturing and business management has enabled me to quickly grasp the essential aspects of any business.
In the 12 years practising marketing I have learnt, applied and consistently communicated the fundamental importance of benefits and value. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing I am constantly updating my understanding of current marketing issues, keeping on top of current marketing thinking.
A thorough grounding in marketing research has enabled me to analyse and identify new market opportunities. Considerable experience of new product development has shown me how to successfully launch new products.
My early years as a postgraduate chemist and a new product development scientist gave me the capability of easily understanding complex technical products and services.
Working Together
When we meet for the first time we will discuss your business needs and how you want me to help you and I won’t charge a thing.
How we work together from then on totally depends on you. I am totally flexible. I can work with you in a regular routine or on a one off basis or anywhere in between. I am happy to become as involved in your business marketing as you want me to be. I charge by the hour, half day, day or by the specific project. The price is £400 for an eight hour day.
I enjoy working collaboratively. Together we will ensure your business is marketed successfully. Successful businesses need a lot of business disciplines and marketing is one of them. The aim of marketing is to create more profit for your business. Good marketing isn’t mercenary or underhand. It relieves on good customer relationships which themselves relieves on trust and understanding.

Strategic Marketing
Marketing your products and services strategically will ensure you get the most out of all your business activities. You need to find the best fit in a market crowded with customers and competitors. Best fit will maximise the value of your product or service, maximising your profit. Maximising profitability is the aim of strategic marketing.
Marketing Planning
Once you know where you’re going and what you want to do, your marketing strategy, you need to do it. This is sometimes the hard part. Studies show that writing down your objectives gives you a greater chance of achieving them.
Implementation
Once action plans are in place the doing really begins. Your day is probably already full of daily business tasks without adding any more. Sometimes you need a little more resources to make sure the plan is achieved. So I can act as that resource.
